I have taken this tour in the past, this time around it was my husband’s first time in Italy so I wanted to have the experience. I’m going to go directly to the point. The confirmation email received after purchasing the tickets only indicated to meet up at the address with out any other instruction, when we got there no one knew about” Made of Tuscany Tour” no signs to be found we had to ask every bus driver and tour guides ( many other companies leave from the same location ), after many attempts one bus driver guided us to look for the people in Pink Shirt ( Chao Tours ). This would have been helpful if it was indicated in reservation. This was a tour with 54 people ( Tour Guide was bilingual ).

Our bus broke down before our first stop so we lost like 1 hr between waiting and changing to the new transportation. Once we changed we skipped the first stop and went directly to Sienna. At the scheduled pick up time the bus was late ( 1hr) and tour guide had the whole group moving to different spots.

Long story short, we ended up doing all the stops, the best part was the wine tasting, we got back to Florence at 8:30p.

Very stressing at the beginning trying to look for tour guides, too much time lost in between stops, very little communication between guides and transportation.

Beautiful day trip from Florence

We really enjoyed this tour from Florence seeing some of the sights that Tuscany has to offer. We loved exploring Siena and San Gimignano, and the wine tasting was good fun. Monteriggioni was cute but not sure it was worth the time, would have preferred spending the extra time in San Gimignano. Overall we really enjoyed our day.

Ruthless and cruel company

In siena my 82 year old mum who was struggling with a bad heart wanted to rest on the bus while i saw siena. The cruel and incredably rude bus driver shouted at her to get off. We walked up the hill to a cafe and the incredibly rude cafe owner refused to let her dine there. We then slowly walked to piazza de campia and sat for lunch . A wild storm blew in and i could not get a taxi to get my old mum back to the bus, we were told by a local bus driver that he passed by this car park and he dropped us off it was the wrong car park and we were now stranded on a main highway in a storm. I phoned the company who asked for a picture of where we where. I sent a photo of the car park sign. They refused to give me the guides phone number and stalled repeatedly, pretending not to understand english untill they sent a text saying its your fault Your bus has now left and you need yo get to the next stop, a winery by yourself. I tried phoning a taxi impossible if you cannot speak Italian. 2 hours later a tourist passed by and called a taxi and explained. We then rejoined the tour 50 euros later. Gabrielle our guide was incredibly kind to us throughout the tour a beautiful soul who works for an incredibly cruel and ruthless company. That bus was just near by us and could easily have gotten us, to top it all off i had the humiliation of having to urinate at the side of a busy highway in full view of motorists. I dared not leave my old mums side incase she slipped in the rain. Thank you to Gabrielle mum adored you. The company has offered no apology or refund to me .

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. All of the stops were beautiful and very interesting. Both of the Guides and the Driver were excellent. Having enjoyed wonderful weather in Tuscany throughout our vacation, our Tour was forecast on the only day of rain! Made of Tuscany were so helpful though and kindly swapped our Tour to the next day. Great Customer Service and a great day. Thanks so much.

Enjoyed a well rounded day touring 3 Tuscany towns. Laid back you’re effectively and warmly led by Serena. Fun wine tasting segment too. Highly recommend and good value.

This was such a great tour! Super reasonable! Covers a lot of Tuscany with good timing! The guides were very knowledgeable. If you are on the fence about doing the tour definitely decide to do it it’s excellent.

Great day of adventure through Tuscany.

The experience was great being able to see so much within a full day of exploring. This tour is perfect for those who hope to get a taste of Tuscany and see different pockets of beauty. Our tour guide was awesome, and the people I met in tour group also made the experience even better!

The tour itself was not bad at all but the guide Antonella was very rude and passive-aggressive to several passengers. Trust me, I don’t need to hear for the 15th time in 3 different languages that I don’t want to be late. I certainly didn’t want to incur her wrath.

All in all, I would not recommend this tour by this company.
